Not purging Failed actions

    I’m using action_scheduler_retention_period filter to purge old actions, which works to delete ‘completed’ and ‘canceled’ actions, but ignores ‘failed’ actions. Why doesn’t it purge failed actions too? Is there any way to make it do that, or do I have to write my own code for that?

    I think the major thing to consider is the reason it doesn’t currently purge them: debugging for failed actions.

    If you are checking this regularly, perhaps this is less of an issue, but if you don’t, and they are removed, your trail to finding any issues is gone.
