Not prepending duplicated site with clone name

The admin bar gets colored orange when you are on the staging site. If that does not happen you have to take care that the staging process was successful at the end.

Thanks Rene, the staging process is saying that it was successful at the end, however, the admin bar is not coloured orange.

After completing the staging process it says:

To assist you we changed the name of the dashboard link to “Staging – Website Name”.
You will notice this new name in the admin bar:

Also, this time, the folder created is a series of numbers not “staging”.

This happens when there was no name given for the staging site or the script was not able to read the name you were using.

In which country are you located? Maybe its a language browser issue.

Try the following:

– Enable wordpress debug mode
– Install query monitor plugin
– Check if there are issues on your site
– On chrome press F12 to open the error console, see: https://take.ms/EVjZ7
– Create a new staging site and make sure to define a name for the staging site.
– Check if there are red colored issues in the error console.

I’ll try some of these things as well, but I’m subscribing to this because I also have this issue.

Please try out latest version 1.0.7. After installation make sure it is deactivated and activated again. Creating a new staging site should be working as expected than.
