Ok so after digging deeper and looking at the error log, I don’t know if this is a problem with the plugin or hosting.

[13-Sep-2014 22:48:09 UTC] PHP Warning: file_get_contents(https://pathtofeaturedimage/maxresdefault2.jpg): failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden

    Hello WPCrafter,

Thanks for contacting me about the plugin. First of all, this plugin is only suppose to have one message since it is a free version. We will be releasing a pro version soon that will have much more custom message capabilities and other features.

For your twitter issue: do you see your twitter profile picture in your account settings? If you do not see a profile image then the account is not properly set up. Also, try hitting the reshare now button. If this doesn’t work then make sure your post filter is set so that there are posts that can be shared. Make sure your minimum and maximum days for posts are valid (i.e. I use 1 day as the min and 1000 as the max for testing purposes).

Finally the error that your experiencing seems to deal with your featured image for a post. This might be why nothing is posting to twitter. Try to post to twitter without the featured image and see if that works. If so then I will look further into why the featured image is not working.

    Thanks,

    Kyle

    Hey thanks for your response.
    1. Regarding the 1 message, you should make that clear, I wouldn’t have downloaded and installed knowing this because, that being the case, there are better plugins in the repository.
    2. The twitter profile image is showing
    3. I do not have the featured image checked, so its odd that I would be having that error
    4. I have have the minimum and maximum days properly set

Its a shame, I took 20 minutes to write a blog post about the plugin mainly because of the multiple messages that I though it was capable of. I will have to remove it now and chalk it up as a loss.

It’s fine that you are holding that feature back, but to not make that clear is not right. I will go back to using Evergreen Post Tweeter since your plugin offers no benefit over that one without the multiple messages.

    Good luck with your project.

I am sorry to hear that you got the wrong message from our plugin. We will make the proper changes to show that there is only one message allowed.

As a blogging site ourselves we know how much time goes into making a post, and we regret that you feel you have to take the post down.

Although, after hearing what you have to see, we may consider adding multiple message support for the free version. Our goal is to empower all WordPress users.

Thanks for your ideas and input for the plugin. If we ever implement multiple messages I will response to this thread letting you know.

    Thanks for your time,

    Kyle

    Thanks for your response.

In the plugin description, at the top it says the difference between this one and the future pro version. Since that is the only line item that lists a difference, anyone would assume the same.

I really like what you are doing with the plugin and will look at it again in the future. I will leave my blog post up and revise it when the pro version is on the market.

    Good luck with this project!

Ok this issue is most likely from your PHP version. What PHP version do you have. This plugin requires PHP version 5.3.0 or higher.
