Not possible to upload media/images, even with User Role Editor

  • Hi guys, I’ve tried everything I can think of so far but no luck. Everytime I upload a picture in the role of for example an author, I get this error:

    “An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.”

    Except while being an administrator. THen I don’t get this error.

    I have tried cloning the admin role and changing the name to see if other users could upload their media. Yet, the problem still persists.

    I’ve been at it for two full days and I’m tired.

    Please help me out here.
