Well, your reaction to the review speaks loud and clear to my point.
The point you tried to make wasn’t even accurate.
There is no such requirement from Stripe, as the account holders can add team members and give them developer privileges, giving access to the API.
Stripe’s API does not allow developers to use the connect process on behalf of the merchant. This is absolutely a requirement from Stripe that they have enforced in my solution. I don’t know why you insist on speaking about something you have no clue about. You don’t work for my company nor have you ever seen my contracts with Stripe so it’s bewildering why you are speaking as if you’re an authority on the matter.
This is clearly not a STRIPE limitation.
As I have said previously, this is a limitation that Stripe has placed on my plugin. I never said this was a Stripe limitation.
If you have decided to connect in a certain way using your “partne account”, I fully understand and respect that.
If you understood and respected that then you wouldn’t have left a one star review. Or you would have asked for further clarification if you didn’t understand my response. I explained to you why the plugin is the way it is. I also explained that Stripe requires my plugin to use the Connect process for live mode.
Don’t assume nor write to people as if you consider them to be fooled, whether it is in a mail or response to a bad review.
I don’t know what that even means. I am going to respond to a bad review which is based on a lack of understanding regarding my plugin and my relationship with Stripe.
How you react to a review says much more about you than the review itself
I’m pretty sure writing a review based on a position of ignorance says something about you as the reviewer. It’s my right to set the record straight and ensure that others that see this review are aware that you don’t know what you’re talking about.
