    Hi Christian,

Do you still have Burst installed on your website? I have checked the front-end and I see no trace of Burst. Do you have any caching?

If not, do you have WordPress installed in a sub folder?

    Kind regards,
    Hessel

    Hi Hessel,

please check again – I activated it again. I was just deactivating it 20 minutes ago because I need a quick solution ??

Caching is active by Siteground Optimizer and wordpress is installed not installed in a sub folder – it is in the first folder public_html as usual.

    Thanks for checking.

    Hi Christian,

Could you exclude the Burst files from caching in SIteground Optimizer? It seems to me like SiteGround is messing up the Javascript.

I guess you can add this line to the exclusions: *burst*

If not you should exclude these four files from tracking:
    – burst.min.js (or burst-cookieless.min.js depending on if you have enabled cookieless tracking.)
    – timeme.min.js
    – burst-goals.min.js (This file only loads when there is a goal set on the current page.)
    –?api-fetch.js

    Kind regards,
    Hessel

I doubt it because the error is showing up also with deactivated Siteground Optimizer.

On a new installation (also siteground) with the same setup (migrated) it doesn’t show the error.

    Hi Christian,

Is the new installation on the same server? If not, I suspect it is a server error.

Our tracking uses the endpoint if possible. If the permissions do not allow for reaching the endpoint file, we use the WordPress REST API to track statistics.

I checked again and it seems like you have disabled Siteground Optimizer right? To me it seems like the endpoint is receiving the right data. Can you confirm the tracking is working?

    Kind regards,
    Hessel
