I’m using qtranslate-x with fifteen theme.
    I’ve activated the language menu.
    The deafault langauge is English.
The problem is that when I’m on the site I can not change the language from English to any of the possibilities (i have set french and polish too)
I can just click on the flag and nothing happens.
Anyone knows why would that be?

what theme and what plugins you use?

Also try the latest Beta version of qTranslate-x Download it here

Do not use install via WordPress admin!
    First unzip the new file.
Deactivate the existing version of qTranslate in WordPress admin.
Then with FTP delete all files in the existing qtranslate-x folder and after that copy all new files in it.
Activate qTranslate-x again via WordPress admin.

I am having the same problem, when I try to change from English to Spanish the URL changes to https://www.gltv.tv/en/#img-src-http-www-gltv-tv-wp-content-plugins-qtranslate-x-flags-es-png-alt-espaol-nbsp-espaol but the website remains the same.

I have already installed the plugin’s latest version, anyone knows what the problem might be?

Appearance – Widgets – qTranslate Language Chooser Widget?

I’m using fifteen theme. I tried to use a child of fifteen, but then I do not see the language switcher at all.
For plugins for now I use gallery by Supsystic.

I tried desactiviating it, nothing changes.

I am using the theme Ante, and the plugins are the following:
    – Askimet
    – CodeStyling Localization
    – Contact Form 7
    – Contact Form 7 Honeypot
    – FileBrowser
    – Google Analytics by Yoast
    – InfiniteWP – Client
    – qTranslate-X
    – Really Simple CAPTCHA
    – WordPress Importer
    – WordPress SEO
    – XCloner

By the way, thank you for your help!

    WordPress SEO by Yoast?

If so, also install WordPress SEO & qTranslate-X
First see if that makes a difference.

Try it also with a standard WP theme

Okay, I just tried the widget, qtranslate language chooser. This one works. I chosed to have image and text dispayed.

But The only flag I see is the english one… For other languages it’s just text.

When I try to see image only, that works fine, I get all the three flags.

Yes, I remove cookies every time something is not working.

Oh, and I have just tried the beta version. The menu language switcher still not working.

The plugin seems to work with a standard WP theme, does this means that it is not compatible with the theme I use?
