Not populating the ‘To’ box

  • Hi, we are using the plugin on our site and there were no issues at all in local testing or on the development site, but when we have launched on the live site a problem has arisen.

    When adding a recipient using the directory and choosing ‘send a message’ to the user, it is not populating the ‘To’ field with that user’s details. This will be the preferred method of choosing a recipient so it is a huge issue.

    If we try to add a username manually into this field we just get the ‘To field is required’ message as well, so there’s no way to send messages at all at present. If you could please advise?

    1. Is your development website is in same server as your live website?
    2. Did you tried disabling caching plugin if you have?
    3. Is your live site is exact copy of your development website?
    4. Did you tried deactivating all plugins except this one and change theme to one of default theme then try?
