    Thanks for the plugin.

    I had troubles with it on a couple of sites, which use Cloudflare and W3 Total Cache;
    could not run the test of images to see if could optimise them; and when I tried optimising a few images via the media library browser it seemed optimising was happening but nothing really happened [spinning circular image; cf Mac beachball of death].

    tried another without Cloudflare and it worked.

    So, back to one of the original two sites.
    In W3 Total Cache, I turned off Cloudflare extension. Seemed to be working as intended, including could check the site for images to optimise. Then, able to optimise images.
    – after which, I turned Cloudflare back on.

    Hopefully everything else will be fine, as I check some more.

    Anyway, maybe of some interest/use to someone.

    Thanks for the feedback docmartinhk! I’m curious if it’s a proxy issue of some sort with Cloudflare? I’m guessing you are using the free version of the plugin so that shouldn’t come into play, but maybe it’s blocking access to our servers if you also aren’t able to use your local tools. If you would like for us to look into it, could you send over a support request here: https://ewww.io/contact-us/

    Thanks Adam; I figured many EWWW users will also have cloudflare, so wondered if it’s the way it’s enabled via W3 Total Cache: don’t know how this would differ though.

    Yes, the free version; and since I have optimised the site images [Cloudflare off via W3TC, cache deleted, optimised, Cloudflare back on], I’m happy now. Checked that cached page accessed with Chrome is indeed serving WebP images.

    – was mainly letting you know, and posting in case anyone else has same issue and finds the posts.
