Not my feed

    Hey there,

    I’m a WP beginner and just installed the plugin.

    My first problem is that it’s not picking up my feed, but random instagrams.

    And I’d like to be able to just display one image.

    I’ve been learning my way around for a couple of weeks so if you give me some code and tell me where to put it, I’ll probably be okay!

    I’d be happy to lend a hand. It looks like you’re using the widget; could you let me know what settings you’re currently using? You could just post a screenshot of your setup if that’s easier. Hopefully then I can start pointing you in the right direction.

    Do you mean in Setting>Simple Instagram (where I can still see just the set-up steps) or Appearance>Widgets (where all I can see is fields for title and number of images) ?

    Sorry for the late reply; I’ve been away from my machine.

    As long as you’re getting the “Success!” message on the Settings->Simple Instagram page, that should be good.

    From your description, I think you may have accidentally been using the Simple Instagram Popular Widget, which just pulls in a feed of the most popular current Instagram posts. The widget you want is the Simple Instagram Feed Widget, which will pull in your own feed. Just be sure to leave the User ID field blank.
