Not Marking Answers Right Or Wrong Immediately

thanks for sending the link. It looks like under “Marking” you have it disabled. Please make sure that the “Highlight correct / incorrect selected answers on completion” setting is enabled.

Thanks for your great plugin!

I am having the same problem.

I turned on everything in Quiz Settings>Marking and hit “save quiz” but when I navigate back to add more questions and then back to Quiz Settings>Marking, each of the selections has returned to the default off state.

I also tried just saving the markings without navigating away from the settings page and tested the quiz in separate (private) browser, but none of them will take. Do you have any suggestions?

the two most likely situations are that there is either a critical error on your site which is stopping HD Quiz from even loading on the page, or your site has your old settings cached.

When you load up a quiz, press F12 to open your browser’s console. On the console tab, do you see a message similar to HD Quiz Init? Do you see anything in red? If you do not see the HD Quiz Init then it means that your site is not allowing HD Quiz to load – either your theme or another plugin is causing fatal errors.

If you are using a page cache plugin – clear your site cache! Your cache plugin will need to rebuild the cache for those pages.

Other than that, I’d need more information to help you. If the above doesn’t solve your issue, then please open up a new support thread and provide a link to a quiz so I can take a look.
