Not loading all the page

I’m trying to build a theme for a website from scratch, only problem is that only half of it loads.

The header.php and index.php load up ok but when it gets to the sidebar.php it just stops and doesn’t load anything else.

Can anyone see anything that might be breaking the site? I am a complete PHP novice
