• Hi

I have Relevanssi and ACF Pro installed – the search results are correctly indexing all custom fields (setting – Custom fields to index : all) apart from one.

It’s an ACF WYSIWYG field set to appear on the category edit screen. This then shows up on the front-end on category archives. Is there any reason why all fields are being indexed apart from that one? Any way I can get it to be included?

    Thanks

Relevanssi doesn’t index category archive pages at all. Relevanssi Premium does index taxonomy terms, so if this ACF field is linked to a taxonomy term, then Relevanssi Premium can index it. But for free version, no, unless you want it linked to the posts in that category – that would be possible, but wouldn’t probably make much sense.

    Hi Mikko

Thanks for your reply – I’m working with a client’s version of Relevanssi Premium and have ‘Index and search taxonomy pages’ selected (with category ticked below). Does this mean the ACF field content should be showing?

Does Relevanssi index the standard category description field?

    Thanks
