    Hello @lando1982

It looks like the plugin isn’t indexing anything. Posts, pages, and media are enabled along with tags and categories. This is what it says on the Manage page.

    Searchable documents Reload=0
    Site documents Reload=0
    Index fields Reload=0
    Status Reload=Running

It’s been Running for hours, what does that mean? I also tried a test search from AWS Cloud Search console and it still turns up nothing. Maybe it’s related to the accessibility fixes here, but I can see the values in Cloud Search console, as far as “id”, “category” go.

My site is here if you want to try it out.

Really need to get this working soon or I’ll have to find another solution. Search is completely unusable. Any suggestions welcome.

    Hello,

Here’s a link, don’t know how good it will be since I cannot see the screen.

One thing worth noting is I do not have my API key in the Amazon Web Services plugin, is that the problem?

    Thanks.

Hi, what do you mean with not your API key? It could be a problem..

    Hello @lando1982,

When I entered my user Access Key and Secret Access Key, I entered it in the Cloud Search plugin. I did not enter it in the Amazon Web Services plugin. Do you think that could be causing the problem?

For the access policy on the user, I selected CloudSearch-Full. For the CloudSearch instance, I opted to allow access to everyone.

    Thanks.

Ok Alex, Access Key and Secret Access Key in the CS plugin should be enough.
The index configuration are ok.. on the AWS console your index is in the “ACTIVE” status, isn’t it?
Thanks for the previous screenshot but can also send me a screenshot of the manage page and some screenshot of the other sections of the settings page?

    Hello @lando1982,

The next step will be providing you access, I just can’t see what I’m giving you as far as screenshots go. Thanks.

Ok Alex, screenshots are always useful ??

    Please try this step:
    – go to manage page
    – click on “create/update” index, then if necessary click “run indexing” (depending on the “create/update index” result message)
    – after index is complete click “sync all documentss”

If you prefer you can give me a temporary access for debug the problem, as you want Alex.. ??
