    Hi. My site is not indexing. I have written to one of the expert in google support, they sent me this:

    “

    https://vedomosti.az/sitemap.xml doesn’t work for me. Just a blank page

    https://view.hugo-decoded.be/?scheme=https&url=vedomosti.az%2Fsitemap.xml&ua=Googlebot&ref=Google

    says

    Response header(s)https://vedomosti.az/sitemap.xml
    ERROR: HTTP/2 stream 0 was not closed cleanly: PROTOCOL_ERROR (err 1)

    Something about that URL is broken.

    When i check the link in google search web master tool,

    ?t shows – An error occurred while trying to download your Sitemap. Make sure that it is located at the specified address and that Google robots are not denied access to this file. See our Help Center for more troubleshooting information.

    But there is no problem in robots.txt file. Some xml file in the sitemap.xml file is indexing, but others not and giving that 404 html error.

  • Hi, it looks like your web server is doing something to the encoding. I verified the sitemap on /?feed=sitemap which at first created a correct response, but on the second request gave the same response as /sitemap.xml

    Try for example the url /sitemap.xml?abc it will load the sitemap correctly the first time, but if you reload that page once or twice, it will turn blank (and an error in the browser console will appear). Change that “abc” to anything else and the same thing happens: first time it works, then fails.

    It looks like you are using WP Super Cache? Is gzip compression enabled? If so, try disabling compression…

    Hi. Thanx for your answer. Even without cache plugin it gives that error. If i give you access to the admin, could you find problem?

    I checked now the new links and i see that the links are indexed, but the sitemap.xml itself shows “not fetched”

    I checked your sitemap and it seems to be working correctly now. The message in Google Search Console will take some time to disappear.

    Super Cache is still active. Which setting(s) have you changed? I’ll try to reproduce the issue and maybe work on a fix for the next release…
