• I loved the idea of this plugin but it’s been a major event. Been working on this for like 2 weeks.

I’ve been able to load the products (after tweaking the code a few times) and I finally was able to load the customers only after deleting customers from the DB as they where added. This plugin won’t do over 16k customers.

But now, I can not get the orders to load, not one. Even checked the new DB, there is not one order imported.

I’ve tried it online with a VPS and over 6 gig memory. Also tried it locally with Wamp and I set the execution time set high.

I even tried trimming down the DB, over 46k orders. I’ve knocked it down to 5k and still nothing. I’ve tried running it over and over. Nothing.

I just keep getting the error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32 bytes)

On a local machine with Wamp.

What could be wrong? How can I find out what is wrong? All I have left is importing the orders. This is quite frustrating.

    Any one have any thoughts?

From what I see, no one else has really had trouble with orders. So I don’t get it.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I am about to give up on this. Can’t waste any more time on it.

  • Did you have any luck with this? Just uncounted this problem today, so no solutions yet.

Try this thread, it worked for me, especially once I ran the SQL query.

I’ve had no luck. Though I have messed with it any more because it wasn’t working.

I’ll double check, but for me, it does not import anything, like I said, I even checked the DB for the new site, and there are no orders. Sure not a matter of orders not showing on the order screen.

Going to try the query, but don’t see how it will help.

Only possible thing I can think is that my store is all digital products. It’s been so long since I installed the digital OSC mod, so don’t remember how much the DB was changed. But I don’t think that is the problem.

I’ve tried contacting the plugin author to see how much he would charge to get it working, but no reply. Maybe have to contact him again.

I SO need to get this working.

Thanks for the reply alabandit, I sure appreciate the try! ??

ahh… all I have no Digital Products. Doubt I can be of any further help. best of luck!

For any one that wants to know, I figured it out.

Obviously the plugin does import orders. In my case it was not working because there was too many. Guess the plugin can not handle a higher number of orders.

I found a simple solution (took me longer than it should have). That was to increase the memory in wordpress, by defining it in my wp-config.php file. Just make sure you put it before the settings.php line. I put it in the first part of the file and worked fine.

Can’t say this will work for every one, if they have the memory to spare and might not work on shared hosting.

    Just posted to help others.

    Awesome plugin.
