• I am using free version, the newest one. When I try to import videos it seems to randomly skip some of them. Is there a way to fix it?

    Hi @mboberski,

    Thanks for using our plugin!
Did you noticed if it’s just skipping a few random videos, or if the importer fails to import a large part of the channel/playlist?

Basically if it’s a few videos – you may already have an existing post on your site with the exact same title – that’s usually why those aren’t imported. (another option is that some videos aren’t publicly available on the YouTube API, so you can maybe check those video settings and see if there’s anything different than others)

If the majority doesn’t import or the import fails completely – I’d recommend to look into a couple of things:

    • Make sure your server doesn’t have any errors in the debug.log file – sometimes there could be memory/timeout issues that would affect the import process.
    • Check your YouTube API quota and make sure you’re not reaching your limits there.

That sounds really odd. I suppose there could be some level of inconsistency at the feed level (the content YouTube includes via API), but otherwise it should definitely work and import all other posts.

I’d be happy to look further into that – if you can include the Channel ID or Playlist ID, that may help.
