Not importing all the articles from Joomla

    Hi,

    I′m using this plugin to import all the articles from Joomla 2.5 to WP 3.5.1, and i′ve already done this several times but always aborts (or something like that) before the import ends (randomly).

    No output error, nothing, zip, nada…

    This a fresh WP instalation.

    Using php.ini:
    max_execution_time = 200
    max_input_time = 60
    memory_limit = 265M
    output_buffering = 4096

    It runs out of memory when you have a big number of articles.
    But you can rerun the import and it will continue where it stopped.

    same problem to me, the plugin import only a few articles, how can i do if i have thousands of articles. can you explain me?

    You just have to rerun the import until it has finished.

    but imports only 5 articles and i have 50.000. i can’t spend this time to return 10.000 times.

    Try to increase the memory_limit in PHP.ini.
    Normally, it can import many thousands of articles before running out of memory.

    I’ve the same problem here.
    I tried to increase memory limit up to 1 GB, but it doesn’t affect the number of post loaded.
    I also tried to increase the other variables, like post_max_size but none of them works. While the max_execution_time is set to 120.
    The plugin stops to work after approximately 15/20 seconds and retuns a blank page, instead the number of articles imported is variable (range from 2 to 5)

    Which version of the plugin are you using?
    How many articles, sections and categories do you have in Joomla?
    Can you send me your database? I’ll try to reproduce your problem.
