Plugin was working like a charm until today. I have several roles established on my website. Only Admin has full access to the dashboard. Authors have limited access: Add Events, Add Post, Add media, Edit their Profile. However, now, even after deactivating certain functions for the authors, they still appear on the authors dashboard menu: FAQ, Job offers, Members, Partners, Portfolio, Price Tables, etc. etc. These were not previously visible. And every time I deactivate these functions, update the changes, and return to the page, they have all cleared out.

    Please help. Thanks!

  • For me everything works.

Does the “huge it slider” support visibility for the “editor” user role on its own?

I mean, is it visible without adminimize installed or is this only an issue since updating adminimize?

    Try resetting adminimize.

    Had the same issue.
I can confirm that with the latest zip provided, things work perfectly fine now! ?? Thank you!

Huge IT Slider works fine in Editor mode from test site, but does not work in live site. Currently using the latest version.

Update: I tried resetting, clearing the database and manually re-clicking everything in the settings page, and no luck. It worked when I didnt assign any restrictions on the Editor account, but did after I was done. The problem is that I have these items under Menu Items unchecked.

    Hi Frank,

First of all great work on this plugin.

The new version Adminimize.zip managed to work. Thank you. ??

One last problem, when I change the WordPress User to Shop Manager (Since I have WP Booking System Plugin installed) the calendar I created in the back-end doesn’t show. So my client won’t be able to attend to Accommodation bookings. The check boxes aren’t even ticked yet. How can I fix this?

    Below are examples.

No Calendar – Shop Manager User

    With Calendar – Admin User

I hope to hear from you soon.

    Hello at all.

I have improve the functions to get all items on the settings page.
    Thanks a lot.

    Hi there

I’m not sure if you are aware of this, but I just downloaded the version of Adminimize through the Plugin menu within WordPress. It automatically downloaded version 1.9.2.
I found that this version didn’t work at all with my site as when I was hiding menus, nothing would actually disappear.

I found this thread on your forum and saw that many others were having the same issue. The new version that you have published via the link above (version 1.10.0 alpha 3) works perfectly with my site! ??

You may want to finalise this version and update the WordPress repository so that anyone new downloading from there will get the latest version without the previous bug.

    Many thanks

    The new version is public.
    Thanks for all testers.

I close this thread as resolved.
PLEASE open a new thread, if you have topics since version 1.10.0.
    THansk a lot.
