Wouldn’t it be cool you can edit the stylesheets and they still are kept associated with the post?

Or wait… I probably am mistaken this is not needed? As it inserts the css in the post and there it stays?

    Found an other bug:

In the insert box on a post edit page I can’t remove the css. I remove it, hit update and its still there!

The box can’t be empty? I think that must be a bug.

Would also be possible to make a permission class so I can edit the permissions per group? With the user role editor plugin.

Hi! Glad you appreciate the plug-in.

Regarding the editing of custom stylesheets – you’re right, the stylesheets are not directly related to the posts; they’re a base set that is added to the post when they are saved.

Maybe in a future version, I’ll create an option to use persistent styles, as well, where it just pulls from the base set by ID, rather than copying the CSS into the post meta. That would be more efficient. I’ve never received a lot of feedback on this plug-in, so I don’t have a strong sense of how people use it.

At any rate, your feedback is appreciated, and I’ll give it a thought when I next have time to do major updates to this plug-in.

As of the version released today (1.2.7), there’s an option to pull styles from the library.

As a caveat, I didn’t write in a way to dynamically associate your previously assigned styles with the library, so you’d have to go through your posts and re-assign the stylesheet by library reference instead of by direct input, if you want to take advantage of this on old posts.

    Thank you!
