Not going doesn’t remove attendee

    Hi there,

    I’m currently testing ‘Event Tickets’ and “Registrations for The Events Calendar’ to gauge which 1 of these plugins will best work with my website for collecting RSVPs.
    With Event Tickets if the end user selects ‘going’ for an event, submits the RSVP form and then changes their mind and selects ‘not going’ for the same event the user is still ‘going’ to the event in the Attendees List. The ‘not going’ submission doesn’t seem to cancel out the original ‘going’ submission and is added as a separate row.
    Is this how the functionality is programmed to work as the unique identifier is ticket # and not email address? If so is there any workarounds to allow the user to change their mind and not be registered to attendee the event?

  • Hi Mark,

    Indeed, changing “going” to “not going” doesn’t automatically remove the attendee from the Attendees List. We have an internal ticket for this issue and our developers will eventually fix it.

    Besides, you can still delete an attendee from the backend, in your Attendees Tab.
