Not getting vendor application email

Hello,
I am not receiving an email notification when a new vendor signs up. Instead I have to check the front end dashboard to see if there are new notifications.
I have checked the notifications settings for new vendor registration and it is set correctly to enable email notification when a new vendor signs up, but I dont seem to be receiving these emails (I also double checked spam)
I am getting other WCFM email notification, for example when a new customer enquiry is sent.
Can you please assist?
