Not getting notification of new followers

HI, my blog is baconandjackrussells.com.

I realised that i am not getting new notifications for new followers to my blog.

I used using my office address to follow my blog to test this out as i have recently moved from wordpress com to wordpress org.

The email that came to my office address is listed as spam: and it looks like this:

You recently followed baconandjackrussells.com. This means you will receive each new post by email.

To activate, click confirm below. If you believe this is an error, ignore this message and we’ll never bother you again.

And when i clicked ‘confirm’, this is what i see:
Congratulations, you are now subscribed to the site baconandjackrussells (https://173.247.250.112/~bacona6) and will receive an email notification when a new post is made.

And i dont get any notification of a new follower – can you advise me on the steps i can take to rectify this?
