When I go to my sites readme file URL, it says “Version 4.2.12” at the top, so I’m assuming that’s valid.

I wanted to add that in case I am giving you an incorrect statement on the version I have installed right now.

Anyways, my issue is that I stopped getting the emails from the plugin when forms are completed at my site, and I’m not sure how to resolve the issue. From what I saw, the plugin should be compatible with my WordPress version.

Does anyone know what I can check to figure out the issue and how to resolve it?

Thanks in advance for your help and time.

Hi there, I would suggest making sure that your server is using at least PHP version 5.4 and MySQL version 5.5. This does sound like a server related issue with the submissions randomly stop coming to your admin email. By chance have you consulted with your Host provider to ensure that nothing is blocking anything. Most times some change change server side such as a blocked ports or firewalls.

    Thanks!

Godaddy is upgrading me to PHP version 5.4 right now, so I’ll try it again in an hour and test to see if that helped. I was on 5.3.

As for MySQL, I’m on 5.0, and they’re telling me that they can’t upgrade to 5.5. Is that an absolute necessity (MySQL v5.5) in order for the plugin to function as expected?

I’ve tested twice since the PHP upgrade and I’m still not getting the notifications via email.

@shanemorgan7 why would me not having MySQL v5.5 suddenly cause this plug in to stop functioning correctly a few months ago out of nowhere?

    Any other ideas?

These minimum requirements is the first line of defense. Secondly, if the notifications stop passing, I would suggest reaching out to your email/host provider to ensure that nothing is blocking the submissions such as firewalls/closed ports. Also Visual Form Builder requires WordPress 4.3 or higher.

    Thanks!
