Not free version NGINX server?

  • I’m escaping from different hosting services because they are all bad.. all of them offer an awful hosting services.. I tested OVH, Siteground, Bluehost, Hostgator and recently I’m testing NGINX hosting services.. and this security plugin in a arbitrary way decided to not offer the plugin for FREE for this type of server… Can anybody understand this logic?

    NGINX hosting are already very expensive compared to the others..

    So I can imagine the simple brain of the people who decided to not offer this useful tool for FREE.. “If they can pay a more expensive hosting, so they can pay for our plugin!!!!! YEAAHHHH”… But you are wrong.. there a lot of people on this server (NGINX) that just need a better service to not suffer anymore!..

    At least you can avoid people to waste its time by explaining in the description that your plugin isn’t free for this kind of server..

    I feel sorry about that, but i think you misunderstand the differences between the rewrites on Apache/Nginx/IIS. The plugin simply CAN’T create Nginx rewrite rules which are totally different than Apache rewrites, that’s all ! Is not about the plugin not allowed to run on Nginx.
    Also, you said “avoid people to waste its time by explaining in the description“, did you actually read the plugin description? The answer is in FAQ at “What servers this plugin can work with“
