• No “menu” block, no way to remove their silly copyright of love without going into code. Also, I could find no “live editor” in the free version, perhaps it’s in the paid version as well. Although their paid version is affordable at only $29, their statement: “IT’S FREE, AND ALWAYS WILL BE.” is another marketing lie. Stop it.

    Hi wardencenter

Thanks for sending your thoughts and feedback.

    * WordPress provides a Navigation Menu widget that can be used in Page Builder. If you’re after a horizontal menu list, please, let us know, I’m sure we could assist. I’m sorry we don’t have an alternative widget of our own to offer. Happy to help if you’d like to revisit the topic.

    * The theme footer attribution isn’t part of Page Builder by SiteOrigin, it’s a function of our themes.

Since releasing our SiteOrigin Premium plugin we’ve put all of the theme features that previously would have been in the premium theme versions into our free themes. The only two features not included in our themes are the ability to disable the footer attribution via a setting and Ajax comments. It takes a lot of time and resources to design, release and maintain a theme. I’m not sure that’s a fair complaint given what we’re offering in our themes. That said, I’m happy to take a look at the attribution link wording and perhaps make it more neutral, ‘A SiteOrigin Theme’, something like that. The attribution link can be removed via a function in Code Snippets plugin or via a child theme. We provide starter child themes in each theme documentation on SiteOrigin.com.

    * Page Builder’s Live Editor is only available in the Classic Editor interface, it, unfortunately, hasn’t been possible to offer that in the Block Editor interface.

    * Page Builder will always be free, we stand by that statement. SiteOrigin Premium is a separate plugin that adds a layer of extra settings and features to Page Builder but the vast majority of Page Builder’s functionality is available for free.

I’m sorry you have a bad experience with Page Builder and one of our themes. If you have any follow-up questions or if you’d like a hand with anything SiteOrigin related, please, let us know. You can post here on the www.remarpro.com forums or at siteorigin.com/thread.

    All the best.
