• “The best free plugin to get more email subscribers. Beautiful opt-in forms…”

    Neither is completely true.

Yes, there is a “free” version, which is so bare-bones it’s not worth the trouble and not at all what you think you’re getting when you download it. Out of a dozen or so templates, only 2 are available with the free version, and only one of those two is semi-attractive. All the cool-looking templates require you to upgrade to “premium”.

Also, you’re forced to set up an account with MailMunch, something I’ve never had to do with other plugins.

Annnddd…the setup process takes you to an external website, instead of having all the setup and settings within your WordPress dashboard.

And after all that, it doesn’t do the emailing for you anyway (and, yes, I realize it didn’t advertise that it did – my point is that with all these drawbacks, at least it could have THAT going for it. Which it doesn’t.)

Big waste of time – I uninstalled it and will try another one.

I think you expected something different. Have you checked our competitor services? We offer a COMPLETE solution for free which includes creating your opt-in form, customizing it, integrating it with services like MailChimp and sending your subscribers to MailChimp immediately.

We have clearly advertised that we do have premium services IF you want to use a premium theme.

Meburke, – You apparently have no idea what this plugin is for. It is simply a way to enable a pop-up or form on your wordpress site. YOUR email autoresponder (ie: aweber, get-response, mailchimp, etc) is the one that sends emails after YOU go into your auto-responder account and manually add the emails that you would like to send to your new subscribers.
There is no magic. This requires you to have a working knowledge of whatever email/auto-responder service YOU have chosen to utilize.

Don’t penalize a plugin because you don’t understand how to use it.
