• This “trial” plugin should not be in the WordPress repository. A 14 day trial for a $20 a month plugin. These guys are kidding themselves if they think this plugin is worth $240 a year. IT is terrible compared to other plugins released that do the same thing for 1/10th of the price.

I’m fine with the freemium and donation plugins, what I’m not fine with is bad devs who don’t explain it is a trial until you install it on your site, after deciding you don’t want it and deleting the plugin is leaves junk and database entries behind to clutter-up your back-end and slow down your site, they also continue to spam you with junk mail.

You guys need to Understand this is WordPress NOT Windows. You seem a bit confused there and this is typical Windows Developer mentality. Just in it for the $$$

Just as a side note, I also purchased, even though I rarely use Yoast Local and Video plugins. Why? Freemium model works.

I donated the author of kkstar-ratings $80. Why? it’s a good free plugin.

I’ve donated to countless other authors, and upgraded from freemium to premium models, because A. they write good plugins and B. they give them away for free.

You need to keep in mind not everyone can pay for your ridiculous fee’s so you shouldn’t deny them use of something if you feel your plugin is awesome.

If this plugin can in fact help with SEO then wouldn’t new bloggers then start making cash and want to upgrade from the freemium model?

    I know I do.

Oh and 1 more example, I own and pay for 3 copies of VaultPress even though I use Cpanel with Installatron which can create backups for me easily. Why?

Because WordPress devs need our support.

    Hey,

Thanks for the feedback and for reaching out ??

Have you seen the Keyword Research and Analysis tool in Squirrly + the SEO analytics in it?

Those are really the paid features. Squirrly can be used for free as well, if used just to optimize articles. Right now it only allows for 2 articles / month to be optimized for free, but we’re making that unlimited very soon (meaning end of July, beginning of August).

    Best regards,
    Florin
