Hey borisrio,
Although some features are only available in the Pro version of the plugin, the free version actually contains a large amount of functionality. The only things not included are the ability to display photos and videos in your feed, plus the ability to hide certain post types. It is definitely not just bait, and there are hundreds of thousands of people who are just using the free version of the plugin on their websites without ever needing to upgrade.
Also, I appreciate your opinion, however a one-time price of $39 is actually very inexpensive considering the huge amount of functionality and customization options built into the plugin, along with the constant updates required to keep up with Facebook’s API changes. There are no recurring costs unless you wish to receive customer support and updates beyond 1 year. If you can find a developer to build it for you for less than $39 then please give me his information so I can hire him ??
Personally I think giving the plugin a 1-star review simply because it costs some money to unlock a few features is a bit harsh. I unfortunately am unable to work 6 hours a day supporting and updating the plugin entirely for free. The same way I am sure you are unwilling to work a job for no pay.
