Not found message when type main url

  • I just installed a new blog…have 2 others with same theme…this time when I type the url I get a not found message. When I click on the RSS tab I get an error has occurred the feed is probably down. The theme folks say it is a wordpress issue and to reset permalinks. I set them to default. I have little or no tech background…in the past these sites have always just worked. Help. url is: lowerhealthcostsnow.com Thanks.

  • Have you actually published any Posts yet?

    If you have published a post or a page, you need to tell WP which of them to display as the home page. Do that in Settings|Reading.

    Thanks for your replies…The not found issue for the main site seems to have resolved itself However I am getting a Server returned HTTP Error 404: Not Found when I try to validate at feedburner. I have set the about page as the home page for now and you can see the error at the site. https://lowerhealthcostsnow.com. I have found reference to this problem in some old forum posts but didn’t see how the answered applied to my situation…and they were in reference to some much older versions of wordpress. I have not written a blog post as of yet.
