We have an online store where we are supposed to set up a Thank You page redirection after checkout. There’s supposed to be a Thank you page redirection, but the store keeps redirecting on the homepage after checkout.

Further investigation: All plugins are disabled and the theme is switched to Twenty-twenty three, the error that we receive upon checkout says “Not Found”. What do you think could have caused this issue?

    What’s been done:
    – WordPress core rolled back to earlier version
    – WordPress core updated to latest version
    – Woo rolled back to earlier version
    – Woo updated to the latest version
    – WordPress database updated

    Hi @jaygumanid,

The “Not Found” error typically indicates that the URL specified for the redirection doesn’t exist or is incorrect. Here are a few steps you can take to resolve this issue:

    1. Make sure the URL you’ve set for the redirection is correct. Check for any typos or incorrect paths.
    2. Sometimes, issues with the .htaccess file can cause redirection errors. Try resetting your .htaccess file to the WordPress default and see if that resolves the problem.
    3. Go to Settings > Permalinks and click “Save Changes” to refresh them. Sometimes, this can help resolve redirection issues.
    4. Ensure that the WooCommerce page and endpoints settings are configured correctly. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced and ensure everything is set correctly.

If the issue continues, please share a copy of the following:

    • System Status Report: Navigate to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get System Report and then Download for Support. You could copy and paste your reply or share it via Mozilla Community Pastebin and share the link here.
    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs. You could copy and paste your reply or share it via Mozilla Community Pastebin and share the link here.
    • How did you set up redirection, using any code or plugin, or just expecting the order received page after submitting the order?
    • Can you provide screenshots showing your page setup and endpoints in WooCommerce > Settings > Advanced? For screenshots, you may use https://snipboard.io.
    • Can you also share a video showing the issue on your end? For video, you may use Loom.com or awesomescreenshot.com

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
