Not found, error 404 and/or

  • Hi,
    I’ll appreciate any help you guys can give me.
    My site was working fine until one day my ‘menu’ page gave me an

    Internal Server Error

    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

    Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@tnmhouse.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

    More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

    Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Apache Server at tnmhouse.com Port 80

    I tried deactivating/activating all of my plug-ins and now I get a
    ‘Not found, error 404’
    I tried saving settings -> permalink setting but after I did that I got my
    initial ‘Internal Server Error’ again.

    First return to permalink default structure and check if page is working.

    I tried your advice and set the permalink to ‘plain’, which is what I think
    you want me to do, but I got a error.

    Not Found

    The requested URL /menu/ was not found on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    What else should I do?

    ok go to your admin > pages and open menu page. Below the page title check the permalink of this page, copy that link and try to open this url directly in browser

    Hello again,

    My setup is a bit different. I have ‘posts, media, pages, menu, etc’
    When I go into menu and select an menu item, the permalink associated with that item works

    Looking again, my last reply seems a bit misinforming.

    I can see the page through the permalink but I still get an

    ‘Not Found

    error when I open it through my site.

    honestly im bit confused with your reply.
    go to menu page change the permalink >> copy that permalink and open it in browser
    can you me screenshot menu page in edit mode?
