I had Groups working perfectly but as of today, the restricted pages are displaying “Not Found” headers instead of the correct content. I upgraded to 1.3.10 and thought that might be the problem, but I just reverted to 1.3.9 and it’s still not functioning.

Here are screenshots of the site & setup: https://imgur.com/a/RGCap

The weird thing is that the navigation shows the restricted pages, but it just doesn’t display the content. If I log in under a more restricted user the navigation automatically hides the restricted pages (in this case “Minutes & Agendas”). You can see that in this screenshot, not all of the navigation items show up:

Do you have any ideas as to why this is happening? I’ve gone through and deactivated all the other plugins and it doesn’t seem to make a difference.

Update: I think the issue is that the group needs to have EVERY capability that’s checked instead of just one. Is this a new requirement? When I made sure the test group had EVERY capability that was checked suddenly the page rendered properly:

It seems you’re right about that, it’s not supposed to be like that though. Thanks for reporting it, will review and fix asap.

I do have started experiencing problems. I have 2 groups setup and in the past I could select both groups to have read access and had no problem with users reading the posts who only had one group assigned to their account. Now when users with only one group access selected log in they can see the restricted menu tag, but get the “not found” header.

Thanks @livninctry – I’m preparing an update which fixes this, the changes are already in the trunk and will be made available as release 1.3.11 today.

You are the man…. Thanks for such a quick response…

@iwriteplays @livninctry Thank you very much for your efficient feedback on the issue! I hope it hasn’t inconvenienced anyone too much.

This has been fixed in release 1.3.11.

Works like a charm… Thank you… Let me know where I can contribute a little something.
