• I’ve tried out Translatepress and it does things differently than WPML/Polylang. As a developer I often tend to work with custom solutions and will eventually have to build support for language plugins like Translatepress. I had in the start a bit of a rough path since I didn’t get the tools that I needed to handle basic language-related tasks with Translatepress, but the Translatepress support eventually delivered and updated their guide. I really appreciate this and hence give it 4 stars.

    Hi,

We apologize we took so long to answer. We know you probably didn’t get the answer you expected, and we recognize there are projects where you should probably use different translation plugins, which again, it’s nothing wrong with that. But for the vast majority of websites, TranslatePress provides a simple and easy-to-use interface to translate your content that’s not available with other plugins.
