Not finding search item in headings

    Hi There

    Hope you cab help.

    If you look in the news section there are at least 3 articles which include the word healthcare in the heading. However, when you search using the term healthcare you only get two articles back which do not have the healthcare phrase in the title.

    Even the stats for each searched item does not make sense eg

    Dr Shepherd Demands A New Deal For Young Doctors

    …the public,” said Dr Shepherd. “Nobody in the profession, let alone the leaders of the profession would allow that to happen. “But this scheme is about rationing healthcare and it has led to the demoralisation of some of our brightest young people.” He said he would make it a priority…

    (Search hits: 0 in body, 0 in title, 0 in categories, 1 in tags, 0 in other taxonomies, 0 in comments. Score: 549.06)

    Where healthcare does appear in the body and get’s highlighted but is not reflected in the stats.

    Hope you can shed some light

    Since you have Premium, use the Premium support you’re paying for.

    You’re using a page builder; that may affect things. Your post content may not actually be in the post body, but instead in custom fields, so the breakdown will show incorrect numbers. I find the breakdown generally quite pointless anyway: it doesn’t really help the users, having a good excerpt is enough.

    Also, your theme is restricting the search to just posts. If I force the search to include just pages, searching for “healthcare” finds four results (to try it, just add &post_types=page to the end of the search results page URL).

    As for the missing news item, that’s a tricky one… I can find that post by searching for “coag” or “bureaucrats”, so title searching for news does work.
