Not finding a fake broken link

Is that a normal HTML link (e.g. <a href="https://whatever/">example</a>), or a plain URL? Plaintext URL support is disabled by default and needs to be turned on in Settings -> Link Checker -> Which Links To Check. Or maybe it’s actually a shortcode and not a normal link?

Also, try searching for the link in Tools -> Broken Links -> All.

it is a link. it’s the normal wordpress link. under Tools -> Broken Links -> All the link is not shown.

Hmm, I see. So the plugin hasn’t picked up that specific link for some reason, while it did detect other links of the same kind on that page. That’s very strange.

Perhaps post scanning has stalled due to server load? Take a look at the “Status” field under Settings -> Link Checker. Are there any links or posts in the queue? Is the number going up or down?

Also, try opening the post in the editor and clicking “Save Changes” without changing anything.

Theres nothing in the queue. I clicked “update” on the page edit screen but the link still wasnt found.

Well, I’m not sure what else could cause that. Perhaps there’s a server-specific bug or an obscure plugin conflict of some sort, but that kind of thing is unfortunately rather hard to track down without access to the site.
