    Deleted the plugin and installed it again and checked it. Not working. Every time i am getting Not expected HTTP response body: Access denied.
    So i downloaded another backup plugin Updraftplus and checked whether its working or not and it also shows me error

    “WordPress has a number (68) of scheduled tasks which are overdue. Unless this is a development site, this probably means that the scheduler in your WordPress install is not working.”

    My website is running from past month and now i created some backups but recently i checked logs of BackWpup and saw this problem.

    Did you have a Secuity rule that dineis accsses to wp-cron.php ? Both messages will hin for that.

    Daniel Hüsken I am using iThemes security, Anti-Malware and Brute-Force Security by ELI, Disable XML-RPC plugins and i deactivated one by one and tried to run backup manually but i am getting the same error “Not expected HTTP response body: Access denied.”

    I don’t know coding at all so i am using plugins but if you can guide me then i will check and see whether its working or not.

    Adding this to wp-config.php just before “/* Thats all folks… */” helped resolve this.

    define(‘ALTERNATE_WP_CRON’, true );

    Can you try to disable the securty plugins plugin by plugin and check if it work than ?

    Hey, similar problem here. Nothing in my .htaccess for wp-cron.php. Also tried adding
    define('ALTERNATE_WP_CRON', true); and that didn’t work either.
