Installed correctly and I suppose it works as intended, but if you want users to rate your posts, or your ratings to show up on your site for people to see, look elsewhere.

    Hi

The plugin allows devs to rate post types based on a whole host of custom params. These ratings can then be used by algorithms or queries to rank content based on feedback from admins.

The plugin does all this as advertised so I’m confused as to why you felt the need to apply a 2 star rating? All this will do is potentially put off users who would if the plugin feature set useful from using the plugin.

I just can’t understand why someone would rate a plugin poorly just because it doesn’t have features a user “wants” it to have as opposed to just uninstalling the free plugin and trying another which may have all the features required.

If the plugin doesn’t work as advertised fine, please file a support request so that any issues can be addressed, that’s what makes the WordPress community so strong.

Please think twice about downvoting items which function as advertised but just happen not to operate as you expected or wanted them to. This only serves to discourage developers who at the end of the day donate their free time to provide plugins to the community at no charge.

Sorry, I understand how you feel and I wouldn’t normally. Perhaps I was a bit rash.

My main issue was that from the description I expected ‘users’ to be able to rate it on the front end, rather than simply the admin in the backend, as currently I feel description isn’t clear, enough for me to miscontrue the purpose of your plugin and attempt to use it for the wrong reasons. Perhaps it would be worth making this clearer in the description.

I didn’t mean to discourage, thank you!

I agree, the description is misleading.

Allow users to rate posts in any post type

Users makes it sound like front-end users but this appears to only apply for users with access to the admin panel. The youtube video makes it clear but the text description does not.
