Not every user sees the list of authors to choose from

    I must be doing something wrong.

    Only users with admin privileges can choose from the list of authors.

    I need either:
    1) An ability to designate a default author, to whom all posts are attributed.
    2) An ability for someone with editor level privileges to see the author drop down menu and select an author from the list.

    How do I do either of those two?

    I’m not exactly sure what you mean by “author drop down menu”.

    In the settings section (the Social Author Bio menu in your dashboard) you can set which level of users can use Social Author Bio. After that they go into their user profile and turn it on and enable and configure which social icons they want to use.

    The default setting, who can use Social Author Bio, is contributor.
