    Hi,

The reason I downloaded this plugin was I wanted to enforce a minimum character limit in the multi-line text field. Every time I set a minimum character limit and update the field it goes away.

    Please assist.

    Hi notright,
I am sorry but this plugin does not offer the option for minimum characters.

is there a chance that you are using some other plugin like Advance Xprofile field?

Ooops I think you are right. When do you guys plan to offer this feature? It’d be really useful.

Also, is there I way to put the number field and make it so only a specific number is acceptable, for example, an approval code?

    Thanks!

    Hi,
    Thank you.

We do not have current plans to add it but it may come in future. Depends on what we see users are looking for.

About the number field, no, It is not for that purpose but your idea of having a field that accepts predefined values in text field is great.

Can you please suggest a name for it. We will be glad to have it in the plugin.

I would call it “Approval Code” that’s what I have now since only those who have gone through my screening process may sign up for my site. I have to manually approve the profiles since because as it is right now they can just type any number and get through the registration process.

I will post back after the release.

    I got it thanks!

By the way are there any plans to put minimum character limits on the multi-text box? By the way what does ‘ignore cases of the token while matching mean? Also, it appears they are still able to create a profile with the incorrect token. ??

    Hi,
    1. Please make sure to mark the token field required to block users from signing.
    2. By ignore case means case does not matter. For example, “CODEABC” and “codeabc” or “CoDEabC” will be treaeted as same.

We don’t have any plan to work on advance attributes for fields. If we get more requests about those, will add them then.

    Thank you

    Hi,
    Hope you are doing well.
There was indeed a bug on signup validation. Thank you for reporting it.

I have fixed it in 1.1.1

Hi further to your note about other users benefiting from character length (min/max) validation, I would second that – this would be a great benefit on both username and text area.
    Thank you ??
