    Respected sir/madam,

I’m using Helpie plugin for FAQs in my website and creating conflict with yoast plugin for rich snippet results.

The main errors are Duplicate field “FAQPage” & Missing field “mainEntity”, causing Not all markup is eligible for rich results error. Please find the link attached for google rich snippet results when yoast is deactivated and activated respectively.

We understand that you are concerned with getting errors related to FAQ schema on your pages. We can see how this might give you pause. We are happy to take a look! Let’s see what is going on.

    1. You will get the: Missing field “mainEntity” error if you set the page as an FAQ page and you don’t use the Yoast SEO FAQ block. So you need to use the Yoast FAQ block on that particular page. This guide explains more on how you can use the Yoast SEO FAQ block: https://yoast.com/how-to-build-an-faq-page/#how. Though, it appears you are using some other plugin/theme to create some FAQ schema.

    2. The Duplicate field “FAQPage” error means you are telling Yoast to output a FAQPage when you already have some other plugin/theme on your site outputting an additional one. You can review these errors in Google’s testing tool here. (As of now, we are not seeing any errors related to FAQ.)

You will likely need to determine if using our FAQ Blocks is something worth doing on your site or if what you already have set-up is working. Indeed, if you select WebPage in Yoast as the schema for the page and then re-run the URL through Google’s testing tool does the issue resolve?

We look forward to your reply.`

    Hi @suascat_wp,

Thanks for the reply. After replacing FAQPage to WebPage in Yoast does the job but I see unnamed items for Breadcrumb, FAQ & Sitelinks Searchbox. Please find the link below.

    1) What does it mean?
    2) Does it impact rich results?
    3) How could I resolve this?

    Have a nice day.

    Regards & Thanks

    Hi @thesaintindiano

We do see that it is outputting ‘unnamed item’ for the breadcrumbs, FAQ, and Sitelinks searchbox in the Rich Results Tool. This isn’t definitive, but we were able to find this question asked and addressed in the Google Webmaster Forums here. You may also want to clarify and raise that questions with Google, as we can confirm that the schema output coming from the Yoast SEO plugin is correct (and it also has the ‘name’ field) for each piece.

It shouldn’t affect the rich results, as it has been confirmed that that page is eligible for rich results, since it has the correct schema markup.
