    For the past couple of days, the post duplicator is not working. When I duplicate a post, it gives me a totally blank page (just like a new post), any only says ‘Draft-copy’, but does not copy anything at all.
    I have checked I am up to date with the plug in, and also removed it completely and reinstalled and activated, but it is still not working.
    Can you advise what I can do to fix it please.

    No duplicating for me either

    I’m trying to duplicate something from one post type. It’s creating a new post, but it’s creating it in the default post type and not the post type I’m creating.

    It then also has no content, the title of the post created is just “Copy” and nothing else. The post is empty.

    I notice the plugin updated recently, it worked perfectly before this. What has changed in the latest update?

    What version of WordPress are you running?

    I’m not having any issues, nor heard of any from any other users.

    Latest version. Both Plugin and WordPress

    Tried disabling all my plugins, no joy there either.

    Have you tried switching your theme?

    It’s a custom theme built be an agency, so swapping that out isn’t an option.

    The plugin worked just fine on this theme and plugin set before, and nothing in the theme has changed. So I wouldn’t imagine the theme is at fault if it worked fine before.

    Ok. You can download old versions of the plugin here https://github.com/meta4creations/post-duplicator/releases

    I won’t be making any changes to the current version unless I can replicate the issue. The changes made in this latest update were made to resolve issues of certain metadata not copying over correctly. So, I’m unable to just revert the changes.

    Before you upload an old version please go to Dashboard > Tools > Post Duplicator and hit Save Changes. Let me know if that makes any difference.

    I had done that before posting, but I tried it again for the sake of it.

    It looks to be working now. What I did was change a load of the setting in there to the opposite of what they were. Changed them back and saved and then it started working. Just incase that helps anyone else if they experienced the same thing.

    Ok, glad that resolved the issue. I know I made a couple changes to the default settings a couple versions ago but I’m not sure why it would cause this issue.
