• Lacking functionality. It’s not really that versatile. We wanted monthly costs and one time costs. This wasn’t possible by default, so i needed to add that myself with a lot of javascript… Stupid but okay, it works now.

Then when everything is finally working as intended, the simple submit button shows the english translation….. Even tho i filled in the setting for it with the Dutch name. I thought well no worries, lets translate it with WPML string translations, so i did, yet, still not working…..

So i thought, lets create a support ticket. Well, when i tried that, it asked for a mail address where the license was purchased, when i fill in that email it says: “Sorry, this Freemius Email is already exists in our database.“. NO SHIT SHERLOCK…. So i cant even create a new support ticket and i don’t have the energy to report this bug, because this plugin took all of my will to life. I will fix it myself….

Terrible plugin, terrible company. Will not recommend! (We bought the PRO version). In hindsight JetFormBuilder was the better option…. Which we used for a different project and that actually worked as described, in contrast to this crap. So yeah, just use JetFormBuilder, their calculation fields are way better and actually versatile… Even the Dynamic.ooo Elementor Form Extensions are beter then this crack.

I fixed it myself by changing it inside the CCBSettingsData.php, since nothing else helped and stopped the updating for this crappy plugin.

This plugin is NOT fully compatible with WPML, BE AWARE FOR THE LIES.

    Hi @cruxweb,

I apologize for the challenges you faced with our plugin. However, it’s worth noting that the monthly and one-time costs can be computed without the need for custom JavaScript code.

The button labels of the Default form can be changed in the Calculator settings:

These texts are specifically for the Default form. If you are utilizing a custom form created through the Contact Form 7 plugin, you’ll need to modify or translate the texts directly within your custom form.

    WPML Compatibility

WPML is essential when you have multiple language versions of your website. The Cost Calculator plugin is fully compatible with the WPML plugin. It’s important to note that the Submit button text is dynamic, meaning it is editable. However, in accordance with WPML functionality, dynamic or editable strings cannot be translated using String Translations.

For proper setup of calculators with WPML, it’s necessary to create separate calculators for each language enabled in your WPML settings. This allows you to translate all the dynamic strings. Consequently, when visitors switch the language on your website, the calculator will be displayed in the appropriate language. This aligns with the functionality of WPML.

I suggest reviewing our guide on translations in Cost Calculator, which you can find at https://docs.stylemixthemes.com/cost-calculator-builder/translating-cost-calculator-into-a-different-language/translation-basics.

    How to get technical support?

We prioritize our customers’ experience and strive to provide easy access to our support portal. You can directly reach our support through the plugin dashboard, which automatically verifies your purchase and opens the ticket form.

I’m confident that our support team can promptly assist you with all the mentioned difficulties.

    Kind regards
