Not displaying most recent

  • [latest-selected-content limit=”1″ type=”post” chrlimit=”2500″ display=”content” image=”medium” url=”yes” elements=”5″ taxonomy=”category” term=”leadership-culture” orderby=”dateD”]

    It is currently showing the second most recent post instead of the most recent post….
    Any ideas?

  • Same here, the newest post wont show up, only the second one. Really strange.

    Hi @savsitedesign and @guybrushpixelwood,

    If you embed the shortcode in a post or page that might match the filter, that one will be excluded from the output.
    For example, I have post1, post2, post3 (that look like the latest posts) and in post1 I embed the shortcode, then the output would be only post2, post3.

    Let’s discuss further to see in each case what is going on, and if there is not a similar use case, to see if there is a bug or other potential problem. What theme are you using?
