Not displaying any content

I do realize that the plugin is not officially rated for WP 4.0.1, but since it has a grat concept otherwise, it would be lovely if it actually worked all the way.
I was successful in setting it up just the way needed: it is sliding in and out, the background is the color desired, etc, but the prolem is that it is not displaying any content, no matter what template is used. Tried them all: Subscribe, WP Login, Widget area and custom template.
There are other minor issues, which could also use attention, however, these would not hinder me personally from using it. Just FYI, here are some issues I discovered:
– When using the text option for tab display, the text was oriented in the left to right direction, while the tab itself is, naturally, in the up-down direction.
– When using the image option for tab display, the edges of the arrow image have a fuzzy area. Not terribly disturbing, but a bit unprofessional anyway.
– I also use another tab slider type plugin right above this one, also sliding in from the right. This slider is set to constatnly on top, but it is so on top, that it also overshadows the other plugin.
