    Hi there,

I really like the cache of this plugin, except most of the times when I have a plugin update my site is effed up and I need to go in and clear the cache manually. Can someone take a look at this, it’s really quite annoying when you happen to manage several hundred websites ;o)

    Cheers,
    Sven

  • Hi Sven,

Do you know of specific plugins that cause issues? And what issues are you having specifically?

Because the pages are stored in cache and served before any plugin is run, their content isn’t affected by most plugin updates. So instead of purging the whole cache every time any plugin is updated, it would be better to target specific plugins.

    Best,
    Marc.

I’m talking about Elementor and Elementor Pro. Both of these need to trigger a full cache purge at all times. I can’t follow your reasoning for not caching the page upon a code update. That’s asking for trouble and I can see the results of that in my daily work.
