• Hello. I have inherited an existing site from a new client and I has 3 custom fields in a lot of the posts. I used your plugin to remove them. And although it appears to have done that because I don’t see them in their respective post edit screens any longer – they appear to still be in the database and attached to each post. The reason I say that is because I use another plugin that lets me see various info related to each post and it still shows those custom fields and their data the same as before I ran your plugin.

So in summary, your plugin seems to have removed the “visually” from the edit post screen but they still seem to be in the database. Is this a possibility?

Could you tell me how to permanently delete it from the db?

Thanks in advance. Great plugin by the way!

Hi Terry, I wasn’t able to duplicate this behavior. I deleted the post type by saving a blank one and then I checked in the database itself and it was really gone. Could that other plugin be doing some caching? My recommendation would be to check in the database itself to confirm.
