I upgraded to the latest (well, latest as of half an hour ago, but it doesn’t look that the 6.6.1 changes would affect this issue) version and it no longer creates the .zip file.
I see the message that the creation was successful and the download button appears, but clicking on it gets me to my error pages and looking in the wp-contents/uploads directory shows me that there is no .zip file. There’s a wp-static-html-output-1549044692.tmp file, but no .zip file.

Under the Log tab, if I ask for the crawl log, it says Requested log file not found – which also worries me.

What other information can I provide to help track this down?

aaaand closing this because we all know what happens when you make assumptions… it seems that indeed 6.6.1 fixes this. Apologies about the noise.

    Hi Dirk,

I’d seen an alert and coming to apologize as lack of sleep wouldn’t see me troubleshoot until tonight.

Glad to see it’s fixed itself and I hope you and Linus found your luggage and had a good NZ trip!

    Cheers,

    Leon

Hi there, I’m experiencing the same issue, but I’m on version 6.6.5, although it’s not creating a temporary file, but an empty wp-static-html-output-1554610040 directory.

    Hi, I’m getting same problem….
