    Hi…

I really considering to buy this plugin but getting the following issue:

    I have a registration page with [wppb-register role=”author”]

The resulting form says “The users can register themself or you can create manually users” (I understand that if I’m logged in and have access to this page then I can add new users. That’s how it works??)

*THE ISSUE: When I try to add new users while I’m logged in (even as Admin) is not working. Not adding users to database neither in unconfirmed subscribers table, despite the form warning says “…you can create manually users”.

Adding from not-signed in its doing well.

    ?Some help please?

  • Hi there,

As you can probably see, not all logged in users may add new users from the registration form, but only admins.

Glad to hear that the regular registration (from not-signed-in) is working fine.

For the admin registering users, please tell me: are you getting some error message or something? Also, are you using Email Confirmation? Please try it without, maybe that’s the problem.

    Best regards,
    Gabriel

    Thanks for reply…

I’m trying to add new users with my admin account (frontend register shortcode).

I did try using Email Confirmation enabled and disabled too (issue persist).

It seems its submiting the form well (no errors displayed) but after that is redirecting me to my user account page and the user is not registered any where neither in their blog nor in entire main network nor pending of activation users)

    ?some idea please?

    Hi there,

While we continue to debug this, please always try without Email Confirmation. We want to keep things as simple as possible.

Next, it looks like you are using multi-site, right? How this works in multi-site is that the users are simply registered on the current site, where the page is.

They won’t have a new site created automatically for them or anything like that.

And another idea: look at your Network Settings, under Registration Settings. You are allowing registrations there, right?

    With the best of wishes,
    Gabriel
