Not creating any featured images

Hi.

Are the images in the posts on the same site?

Yes. The images are in the posts on the same website. I have the posts posted automatically with one image on top of the article. I just need the plugin to make it a featured image so it shows on the main page as a thumbnail.

i always have to do it manually. I have to go to my WP dashboard and make it upload the image as a featured image. Otherwise the plugin just says the image was found in a post and the outcome says done (no action).

Any suggestions?

This is exactly what I’ve been reporting for weeks now but the best answer I’ve gotten is to turn over my login credentials to the plugin author. I will never give my login credentials to a random dude for any reason.

There are no plugin updates available. Plus, I just ran this plugin on a new site and got the same error. It seems this plugin is completely broken and does not work anywhere.

Do you have a list of any plugins you now to be incompatible with yours?

@vlastop I take it you have not been able to use the plugin either still. I’ve had this problem for at least a couple weeks now. Over the years I developed an easy way to create new sites quickly by exporting them with Import Export Lite, but to save money I decided to just use this free plugin to regenerate images after importing the posts on the new site using All Import. That worked for nearly a year until all of a sudden it stopped.

As a result of this plugin not working I’ve lost over a week of time having to make up for this now useless plugin by copying sites using NS Cloner which doesn’t work either. NS Cloner does not copy all files to the new site, so to migrate images I have to download everything from the first one and upload it via FTP. What should have only required a simple scan with this plugin now is a monumental undertaking.

Thanks for letting me know. If you don’t mind me asking how do you create new sites by exporting them? Are these sites someone else’s and then you change the content?

I have updated the plugin to whatever the most current version is but it still doesn’t work. I need to move on with this. Can I please have a refund so I can get another plugin?
